Sharing

Today we had some very interesting sharing... Antlers from deer and some very old Huia heads. Huia are extinct birds. The last Huia were seen over a hundred hears ago!

Inquiry

This week we have started our Inquiry - 'The Landmarks in our Backyard'. Today we created our own maps of Clive.

Writing

Here we are at our writing stations. We are learning to say, hear and record the sounds we hear in words. At one station we practice writing high frequency words from our homework word lists, at another we use an app on the iPads to practice listening for the sounds in words, and at the last station Mr Bryant helps us to record our own story.
